Have you watched Perfect Days yet? I think about this quote from the movie every morning when Licorice and I go out for an early, sleepy walk. She sniffs the grasses, and I sniff whatever new flower has opened in the neighbor's gardens. Today, this huge magnolia was quietly perfuming the street, and its fleeting scent was the best reminder that 'now is now!'
