A Reminder to Do Nothing

Reminder to Do Nothing

Doing nothing - it’s a difficult concept for most of us to accept let alone practice. Our natural state is action, especially if we’re feeling uncomfortable or anxious. But, not doing anything is often the best form of action.

Science shows that if we’re always ‘on’ our brain will reach for the easiest most obvious answer to things. Conversely, if we give ourselves time-out our mind gets a chance to move beyond the immediate and expand into more creative ideas. By doing nothing the bigger questions arise, what’s truly important comes back into focus & we return to ourselves.

Wishing you some nothing
