Move Towards The Sensory

Lately I’ve been noticing lots of conversations with friends around feeling ‘busy verses fulfilled’, and how easily a week can slip by without being able to recall much of what happened.

The most simple counterweight to this is to move towards the sensory. Our senses remind us we’re alive. They bring us into the physical world & out of our projecting mind. And because our sensory memory is so deep & long, a pause in your day to watch a tree, smell a rose, or notice the breeze on your skin, gives you back an awareness of time.

Be happy whenever you can manage it. Enjoy yourself. It’s lighter than you think.
